આનંદના અનેક રંગો ….

Friends……
I am very happy and feeling proud to say that,
I got “LAADLI Media and Advertising Award for Gender Sensitivity” 2012-13 by Population First and United Nations Population fund.
One of My article on my blog ‘MANRANGI’ focuses on gender inequality in everyday life particularly the double burden of working women who are expected to carry on with their household responsibilities and also earn for the family.
It’s Time to challange the Gender stereotypes and redefine them to bring in more gender equality in the family.

  1. Congratulations for a resounding recohnition.
I am sure you will have many more regarding so eloquently dealing and championing more challenging subjects.
In so far as the subject of gender in equality is concerned, you have quite aptly stated that equality will not necessarily come in by clamoring for it, it will have to be pushed in by actaul affirmative deeds – by both genders.
This has to take into account the natural individual differences of gender as well as total personaility of an individual.
At the end of the day, a person should be recognised not by his / her gender or caste or religion or nationality, but by his / her actions.
